Give yourself the gift of a flexible spine this season by joining Angela as you flow through some spinal and hip flexor warm-ups which lead to camel, full wheel (with blocks which is a game-changer if you've got tight/painful wrists or shoulders) and finally, scorpion in pincha! Woot! Lots to open here, folks!

In this dynamic offering, we will use all four corners of our mat and embody the energy of expansion. Using fiery sequences, Dhaujee will take us through a flow that's all about showing up and challenging ourselves to take up a little more space. Space in your breath, space in your body, space in your mind. Variations are offered for you to honor your limits even while expanding. Enjoy!

Hello friends, if you are craving a practice that will deeply open your shoulders, chest, upper back and quadriceps so you can find freedom in those areas and explore backbends...along with some deep hip-and-hamstring opening once you're warm, this is for you! You can count on core strengthening and inversions as well, along with mindful breathing and grounding.

We start with a wide-legged forward bend, and ease into the hamstrings, hips, inner groins and the IT Band. We add some sun salutations, standing poses, core work and the option of an arm balance. Now all heated up and pliable we go into some backbends and cool down with and inversion before savasana. Enjoy!

This is a steady, mindful flow that targets shoulder, chest and upper back opening along with quadriceps and hamstrings to prepare for deeper backbends. Ustrasana is offered 3 times, and the last round you can play with prep for kapotasana, or if you're feeling open, you can move into full kapotasana (I'm healing a shoulder tweak so I did not opt in for that in this practice, but stay tuned :)). Regardless of how far you go, you will open deeply, and you may find more freedom in whatever backbends you do today, because the class is sequenced for that! We also fire up the core and head upside down. Guided Meditation/Yoga Nidra in Savasana.

When you have an hour and want to deeply release your shoulders and hips, strengthen your core and turn your world upside down!

This class is a response to two similar requests, one for a practice that would help if you're moving through grief, and another from someone who wanted a session to help when she's feeling "triggered AF." In all reality, every one of us will experience both of these big feelings (and a whole bunch more), so it's good to develop the tools that can help us navigate these waters with a little more grace and ease. It might seem funny that one class could be an answer to two very different kinds of feelings (deep longing, sadness, loss...and on the other hand, feelings of frustration or rage), but in truth, the same kinds of tools work for both of these, and ANY big feelings we face as human beings. It isn't all going to be pretty or easy, but this is why we practice, so we have solid emotional ground to stand on when it feels like the ground is falling out from underneath us. Expect some serious stretching for your quadriceps, hamstrings and shoulders. Deep core work, and a little "L" drill at the wall. This is all about calming your nervous system, but in order to practice, I had to give you some big sensations to work with. Lots of love, yogis!
