This is an advanced flow where we focus on finding freedom in the upper back, across the chest and in the shoulders so we can explore some deeper backbends including viparita dandasana. If you're experiencing tightness in your upper back, across your chest or in your shoulders, if you feel you may be carrying tension or that your breath is not flowing as freely as it might, if you have been feeling a little blue...this practice is an opportunity to open your heart and trust your process! You may want a strap and a couple of blocks along the way. Please listen to your body - you cannot force heart opening!

Yogis, this is an hour-long energizing flow full of twists, turns, and lots of prep for heart-opening. Your shoulders get extra love, and you have options for all kinds of deep hip opening, too. Expect to see eagles, monkeys, camels and happy cows along the way. Core strengthening to keep you centered and the inspiration to tune in to find what you're looking for!

A playful and creative flow targeting back-bending! Intentional sequencing so we open the shoulders, chest, upper back, quadriceps and psoas along with the hamstrings. Of course we'll strengthen the core so you feel centered and your spine is supported as we open. Options for arm balances and inversions along the way to that beautiful, open heart!

If you're looking to deepen your backbend practice or understand backbends more deeply, look no further! We warm up the spine, open the shoulders, chest, upper back, quadriceps and hip flexors and play with all kinds of backbends! King Arthur makes an appearance, and you might find yourself in kapotasana or kapotasana prep! Regardless of where you end up, backbending practices have a unique energy! They are great for times when you need a boost of confidence, or are working with depression. There is such a shift in energy when you focus on opening the front body and leading with your heart! Enjoy yogis! (This is intermediate/advanced, but if you listen to your body and back off when you need to, intermediate practitioners will be fine :)) Enjoy, yogis!

Tweens It's such an important practice to wake up and start off our days with an open heart, unshakeable trust and confidence. Nowadays, it can be hard to have faith that we will get through this tough time of COVID 19. Working with the Vajrapradama Mudra, we will flow together and learn yoga tools to prepare you for a successful day.
