This practice in the beautiful Yogis Anonymous Garden is a bendy, balance-y flow. We open with a variation on Sun Salutation C. From there we move on to standing poses to strengthen the legs, open the hips, and stretch the hamstrings. We complete the practice with twists, floor stretches, and backbends. Enjoy!

Sometimes you need to get in and get it done. This 13-minute core flow is a great warm-up for a longer class or a nice way to move when time is limited.

A perfect, very short practice for days when you're really short on time but want to get in your body, move, breathe, open your hips, hamstrings and shoulders, fire up your core, release anxiety and get back to whatever you're doing with more clarity, ease, focus and peace!

Join me in the Practice Garden for an energizing flow that's all about the straddle! Work your inner thighs and outer hips to find stability and strength, fire up your core, and approach this practice with curiosity. A couple of firm blocks might help you find your handstand straddle, but whether you lift-off or stay right-side-up today, we're going to move, breathe, work and have some fun! You can expect lots of creative and powerful core strengthening mixed into our flow, an exploration of dolphin pose with the option for forearm stand, lots of inner thigh and outer hip engagement, frog hops, and a possible handstand straddle.

This is a slow flow/deep stretch class perfect for days when you have a moderate amount of energy but really want to open up. We build some nice heat early with Series A and C variations that include lots of extra love for the hips, hamstrings and quads and then we move into some really deep hip openers. Please have a block or two handy, or anything solid that you can use to "lift the floor up" for poses like reclined hero, where it might make more sense for you to stay upright. We do work hard on the front end, so I would not call this a gentle yoga class, but the end is all about deep release in the hips, and also release of stress and anxiety. Breathe deeply, friends, we'll get through it all together!

Happy New Year! New year, new alternate set :) Welcome to the magic garden where you get to weed out what doesn't serve you and nurture the things you want to grow! We did some nice heat-building with Series A and C variations, a chance to play with koundinyasana II, opportunities to root down and reach for the sun with bird of paradise, core work (but of course) backbends, hip and hamstring opening and deep breathing throughout! A little mermaid even showed up! Sending you and yours lots of love and wishes for a very Happy New Year where we spend lots of time together playing in the Magic Garden! So grateful to be on this journey with all of you!!

Fun with eagle pose! Get ready to open your outer hips with all kinds of eagle variations, maybe even in places you wouldn't expect like side plank! Opening the outer hips creates freedom in the low back and eagle pose is a wonderful way to explore the bandhas, open your chest and upper back, in addition to the hamstrings, hips and quads! Of course there are also options to play with eagle in forearm stand and handstand. If you're short on time but high on energy, this is for you!

Great for days when you have a moderate level of energy and really want to slow down and tune in. The more you breathe into this practice, the more the mind quiets and you can accept the invitation to release tension. You can turn the heat up or down on this one, with options for standing marichis, bird of paradise and tripod headstand with wide straddle or lotus legs (or you can be in a supported headstand with a block), and backbends can be active or restorative as well (please have a block handy)! Enjoy, yogis! Sending you and yours tons of love xx
