The foundation is Warrior I. Square your torso to the front of the room and then fold forward. Many modifications are taught, be sure to listen to your body. A strap or towel will be handy if the shoulders are tighter.
Grief is not a linear process, the emotions associated with grief come in ways and sometimes, we don't have the capacity to process those emotions so we tuck them away in our body. This flow is all about addressing grief and opening the spaces that hold some of those hidden feelings. Dhaujee begins and ends this offering with meditation that includes mudras and focused breath. As the practice builds, there is space for hip and heart opening, twists and even a bit of balance. Take some time to intentionally sift through grief you may be processing. Enjoy.
