Ready for a little more challenge after practicing Session 1? This
session takes the intensity up a notch by taking the support down a
notch. You will gain more strength, flexibility and confidence as you
continue on the road to "regular" vinyasa. "Practice and all is coming!"
Your core is the key to graceful movement. Vinyasa yoga builds great
core strength. Doing it with good alignment also requires core
strength. Solve this conundrum with these modifications. Building on
sessions 1 & 2, this class focuses on strengthening the core.

We do vinyasa for the joy of it! Back bending can feel joyous when the low back feels supported. Now that you have found your core in session #3, you can find more freedom while opening your chest and upper back. Using the chair for feedback and support, you can create more space in the spine and more joy in your heart!
Let's dance! This session starts with sun salutes to warm up, and then
opens your hips with standing poses and a dancing warrior vinyasa series. With the chair as your partner to keep you steady, you will find your rhythm and feel the fluidity that comes with increasing your flexibility!
Impatient with tight hips? Lasting change takes time. So give yourself
a little more time to get out of your chair and get deeply into your
hips. The more variations you do, the more open you will become!

Long hamstrings are the key to feeling steady and free in forward folds. The
chair takes the struggle out of lengthening the hamstrings and opening up the spine. It can also help you find that sense of freedom (and even
balance) in more challenging forward folds, like warrior 3! Really.
Have tight hips and wonder how to get into pigeon pose safely and with
ease? This session opens the hips and uses the chair for a slow,
controlled descent into pigeon that allows you to gradually go deeper
into this intense pose so that it feels just right for you.
