If you're looking for a deep hip-and-shoulder release mixed into your well-rounded flow, look no further! If you've been sitting too much, we target all the areas that long to move! The shoulders, chest, upper back and neck, hip flexors and psoas, the quads and hamstrings, and of course, the all-important spine! You will find that you release energy you didn't know you had and find fluidity in your breath and in your body. A block might be handy, but isn't necessary. Enjoy, yogis!

A well-rounded journey that starts with some gentle forward folds and twists, builds steadily through some standing balances and core work, and finishes strong with a few playful inversions and arm balances... enjoy!

Dancers make it look easy, but this warm-up is definitely a challenge! We'll explore some backbends, ballet-style, along with our usual slow, controlled legwork. You can expect to focus on some classic barre exercises, along with delicious cool-down stretches.

Got a stiff back from a long hike or a Netflix binge? Get some relief with undulating spinal movements in all directions of travel. From heel to head, we take it outside the linear box and keep it moving with lots of variations on the theme of releasing backline tension. We'll sneak in some core support because nothing says back relief like abs in the game. We finish up with my favorite "clock" movements before settling into a timeless stillness where residual tension unwinds.

By request, a flow for days when you're really short on time or struggling to focus, but want to get in your body and breathe, open every major muscle group, strengthen your core, take care of your spinal health (but also your emotional and mental health!) and then get back to the business of being awesome!

A Shiva/third chakra-geared sequence designed to help us harness the power of transformation balancing Shiva and Shakti energies (masculine and feminine), so we can both embrace change as it happens, and also find the strength to change the things we want to shift! Whether you need to change your approach or the way you might habitually respond to situations in ways that aren't serving you, become your own alchemist in this practice! Think twists to wring yourself out, and backbends to open your heart to whatever may within you or around you! Fun shiva shapes, navasana for rocky waters, and a sense of humor along the way!

Feeling cooped up lately? Me too. As dancers, we need to stretch and move as much as possible. This little practice does just that, without requiring a giant amount of space. Come feel expansive and breathe BIG. You can expect a little bit of everything, a ballet salad if you will: stretched arms, pointed toes, and a core muscle 'wake-up'.

A powerful practice with all kinds of core work, balancing and inversions. Have fun, and as always... enjoy!

I had two variations of this sequence planned because I wasn't sure how much energy I had to work with - a high energy and a moderate energy version. This is NOT the moderate energy version :) This flow targets the outer hips and hamstrings. Think eagle pose, cow-faced pose, monkey pose, ardha badha padma paschimottanasana, lotus pose and more! I got a little emotional talking about the myth of Garuda and the idea that we should never shrink ourselves to make other people comfortable, thus the title of this class! I wavered between intermediate and advanced once again, but I offered modifications for the advanced poses, so please just listen to your body and enjoy this ride!
