Floating on the boundless ocean of possibility, Vishnu sleeps on the giant coiled serpent Ananta. From his navel a lotus blossoms and the four faces of Brahama, the god of creation, emerge. Vishnu's Couch comes to life in several permutations throughout the story of this sequence. Delicious hip and shoulder opening set us up for Standing Marichyasana and a variation of Eka Pada Sirsasana. Tolasana floats your padmasana right up off the ground, then we flip it on it's head and plant that seed of creation!
