One of the most important and powerful meditations in Kundalini Yoga, the Kirtan Kriya includes the use of mantra (singing/chanting) and mudra (hand postures) to stimulate nerve points in the upper palate of the mouth and in the hands. The mantra is Sa Ta Na Ma - Sat Nam, "Truth is who I am," in four syllables. Begin this practice for 6 minutes and build your way up to 30 minutes. Enjoy.
