of deeply cleansing and energizing breath of fire in today's session,
so for those of you who are pregnant or on your moon cycle, please take long deep breaths in and out through the nose instead. This class includes a 3-minute experience of Sat Kriya - one of the most important and powerful exercises in Kundalini Yoga that Yogi Bhajan taught. Enjoy!
Today's moderately strong class for all levels of practice focuses on strengthening the core, and balancing the navel or third chakra - the energy center of strength and personal power. The navel center is also where all the nerves gather, so it's very important to set the navel so that energy is flowing freely and distributed thoroughly through all 72,000 nerves.
Today's soothing class for all levels of practice focuses on strengthening and balancing the 6th chakra - our intuitive center at the area between the eyebrows, or the third eye point. In addition, today's class works and stimulates the nerves in the shoulders, which supports in balancing the left and right hemispheres of the brain. It's a transcendent and soothing experience.
