Volleyball can demand a lot of the entire body but especially the legs, glutes, and shoulders. Take time to stretch and breathe into these areas to create space so you can get back out on the sand or court, feeling stronger and more flexible!
Starting out with an easy hip-opening and shoulder-opening sequence we build a basic flow step by step. Always coming back to the breath throughout the class. This class is at a slow, steady pace with lots of instruction so it's great for anyone who is new to yoga. The main emphasis of this class is opening the shoulders and hips. Have fun and don't forget to breathe!
Find your inner peaceful warrior by staying focused on the breath through a fiery series of standing poses that will strengthen your focus, along with your legs and glutes, and open up your hips, as well! Peace out, warrior.
Our second session in the Kids' Yoga course. One of the main concepts when we practice yoga is that we inhale when we expand, and exhale when we contract. We play with that idea throughout this practice, which includes sun salutes, warrior 3, backbends, and hip and hamstring openers. Your little is going to feel really good after this!
