Missy White is an E-RYT 500, the owner of Studio 108 Yoga and Holistic Healing and the creator of the 108 Asana series. She has led workshops and taught at conferences all over the world, from Yoga Journal Live to Sri Lanka to the Om Yoga Shows in Manchester and London. Internationally recognized for her passionate teaching skills and her dynamic and innovative sequencing, Missy travels the globe teaching her signature Funky Flow and Float Master Class as well as the 108 Asanas Practice and Workshop she created. Missy began practicing in 1999 and in many ways credits yoga with saving her life. She has trained with many luminary teachers including David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Desiree Rumbaugh, Duncan Wong, Andrey Lappa and many more. In this class we will flow and play with a lot of focus on our core activation and other muscles groups that we sometimes forget to engage during a vinyasa flow class! Have fun and enjoy this new awareness in your practice.
In the class we target the hips and hamstrings, these are the areas we tend to store stress and tension and it can be difficult to get into the fascia and smaller muscles around theses areas , so prepare to breathe deeply and let go of this unnecessary tension! You will feel amazing when you do!
In this class we will warm up the body with a short flow and then we will get right into our deep divine backbends! You will receive step by step instructions on how to achieve your best heart openers no matter what level or style you practice.
In this class we take flight in several different variations of Eagle pose! Don't worry we will warm up by moving through several creative Sun Salutations before we fly! This class is well-rounded and will certainly energize you inside and out! Shine on my fellow yogis:)
This class has just enough movement to help you breathe through any stress that you need to rid yourself of so you can find your Groove! There are plenty of options to arm balance and get upside down if thats what you need. And of course we have some invigorating backbends and some juicy hip openers to make this a well rounded and super fun class!
Get energized in this yummy and delicious flow that will get into all the tight places and spaces that we sometimes ignore in practice. As you unravel these tight spots you will automatically feel better because you'll be able to create more space in the body in places where it was holding onto tension and stress! And guess what? After that you will also mentally feel like you received a reboot...woohoo :)
In this super charged full body flow you will be challenged and motivated to try some new transitions and fun sequencing. I encourage you to breathe your way through the tough spots to help you move into the poses with ease and grace.
In this mix it up flow we will wake up your entire body as we move in a sweet steady pace that will make you feel just right after your practice! This is a sweaty, challenging flow with arm balances and inversions and opportunities to play. As always, listen to your body and play in a way that feels right for you!
