Originally from Santa Cruz, CA, Maya now lives with her puppy Luna in Santa Monica where she inspires people to sweat every day by making movement and healthy living fun and accessible. A lifetime of martial arts training ranging from Tae Kwon Do, MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing, combined with her 7+ years of teaching yoga has resulted in dynamic and eclectic classes. She approaches teaching every class as a partnership with her students. When you walk on your mat, get ready to move, sweat, have a good time, and enhance how you feel the rest of your day.
