No matter what season, it can feel liberating to spring clean your mind and body from stress and tension. Build the strength and mobility to play with Eka Pada Koundinyasana with confidence and freedom.
Who says we can't have everything in one class?
Restorative postures, breath awareness, Mandala salutations, and vinyasa flow, with progressions and modifications for everyone. In this flow we target every single part of the body and end in a sweet savasana.
A little “rise and shine, anytime” for you! Start the day this way, or hit the reset button anytime at all. Quiet your mind, land in your body, connect to your breath, and open every major muscle group. The mind loves to pull us into the past, or race us into the future, but life is happening right here, right now. This session is about not missing the moments :)
Sweat it out with a shoulder-opening, hip-opening flow. A warrior flow with eagle arms builds heat before we move into some deeper hip openers and some play with standing balance in Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose) and an optional Bird of Paradise. We take hip openers and backbends on the floor before a well-deserved Savasana.
This class combines strength, stability and flexibility into one fluid flow, guiding you into standing Bird of Paradise. This is a hip, heart and hamstring opener that requires balance and focus. We will warm up the body, lengthening the hip flexors and building strength in the core so you feel well prepared to take on our peak pose. A great practice for any time of the day!
Move slow, get strong! This practice focuses on opening the hamstrings and building strength with deep conscious movement. We get the blood flowing with a few sun salutations and create strength through standing poses. A deep hamstring stretch (hanumanasna) is our peak pose. Finish up with a peaceful and relaxing savasana!
This is a challenging one hour vinyasa flow class with an emphasis on strengthening self-acceptance and releasing perfectionism. We do want to refine our position in each asana so that prana moves through us clearly and with ease, and at the same time, we want to release the ideal of "perfection" and being at war with ourselves, both on and off the mat. Expect a gentle warm up, sun salutations, a warrior flow, balancing postures, inversions, as well as heart and hip opening. Offer love to yourself and enjoy!
Short on time? One of those days where you’re spinning or spiraling mentally? Hit the pause button, grab your mat, and let’s get breathing and moving for a few minutes. Just enough to get you out of your head and into your body, to breathe deeply, to open up physically, and to head back into your day (or night), with more clarity, ease and connection. Thanks, yoga!
