Tearson's yoga journey began in 1999 when her doctor recommended she take it up after suffering an ankle injury due to running. After a great deal of research, she landed in an Ashtanga class and fell in love with the practice. Over the next 8 years she practiced Ashtanga primarily before finally venturing out to other forms of yoga. Vinyasa eventually caught her eye and desiring to share her love and knowledge of yoga with the community around her, she earned a 200 hour certification in Vinyasa Flow with Gioconda Yoga in Austin, Texas. Over the next couple of years Tearson continued her studies in Vinyasa, as well as, dabbling in Anusara.

In addition to her 200 hour certification with Gioconda Yoga, Tearson has a 200 hour certification with Noah Maze Yoga and various hours of training with many other renowned yoga teachers.

Tearson's classes are strong with an emphasis on alignment and breath. Within her flow you will find bits and pieces of Ashtanga, Anusara, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow. Combined with her unique sense of humor, you'll find her classes challenging, rewarding, creative, and fun.

In addition to teaching yoga, Tearson is also a certified personal trainer, spin instructor, gym rat, avid runner, and triathlete. She lives blissfully in Los Angeles with her amazing husband, 2 super sweet dogs, and a wacky cat named Grr.
