Janice Chiou offers yoga classes meant for every body. Using simple assessment tools and some basic anatomy knowledge, learn how to find a healthier alignment and breathing pattern that you can carry with you into ALL activities, on and off the mat! Janice’s passion for helping her students discover a healthy, sustainable, and balanced way to move through life was inspired by her teacher Jasmine Lieb. Janice had the honor of studying with and assisting Jasmine in a 1,000 hr teacher training for therapeutic yoga.
This class is an introduction to the Hatha yoga method taught by Jasmine Lieb, where healthy diaphragmatic breathing (free from tension, compression, and strain) forms the basis for discovering space and support in YOUR body.
