Janice Chiou offers yoga classes meant for every body. Using simple assessment tools and some basic anatomy knowledge, learn how to find a healthier alignment and breathing pattern that you can carry with you into ALL activities, on and off the mat! Janice’s passion for helping her students discover a healthy, sustainable, and balanced way to move through life was inspired by her teacher Jasmine Lieb. Janice had the honor of studying with and assisting Jasmine in a 1,000 hr teacher training for therapeutic yoga.

Carrying a lot of tension in your shoulders and neck? Let's get the RIGHT muscles to hold up your head! You'll need a chair (preferably an armless chair) and a couple of firm blankets! This is a slow-moving, mindful practice that will get you working in a different way and deepen your awareness of habits that might be causing the wrong muscles to do the heavy lifting while the right muscles are neglected.
