Originally hailing from the Midwest, Beth is a vinyasa yoga teacher who loves to teach classes with a focus on slow flow and beautiful music.
Beth first started practicing yoga in 2007 during college, finding it a great way to stay grounded and calm at a time that was full of change and uncertainty. She went on to receive her first 200-hour Yoga Alliance yoga certification in 2011 at Akasha Yoga in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and has recently completed her second 200-hour training with Ally Hamilton and Kate Duyn Cariati at Yogis Anonymous in Santa Monica.
In 2012 Beth moved to Australia to work on her graduate degree in Environmental Science, where she met her future husband. Together the couple traveled throughout Australia and Southeast Asia while Beth continued to learn and teach yoga.
Beth and her husband now live in Santa Monica with a pair of rescue kittens named Thor and Loki. When not practicing yoga, Beth spends her time teaching middle school science, tending her tomato plants, and reading fantasy novels (The Lord of the Rings being her all-time favorite).
