Powerful Powerflow

Hello yogis! This is a power-flow! Lots of standing poses to build some nice heat and get the energy flowing, with some fun twists along the way. Great as a rise-and-shine, anytime.
“Vinyasa” means “a methodical progression from one point to another”, and when we say “vinyasa flow” we are describing the union of breath and movement from one pose to another. Our flow classes are sweaty, focused and fun. The emphasis on breath brings you into your body and connects you to something that’s happening in the present moment--your inhales and exhales, and all the other sensations that arise as you move and build heat, open, strengthen and stretch. Sensations don’t happen in the past or the future, they happen now. Welcome to your body!

All right yogis! Get ready for some laughs and some fun! We're going to dive into the hips, hamstrings and shoulders and fire up the core so we can play with arm balances that include koundinyasana 2 and eka hasta bhujasana (elephant trunk pose). Get ready to sound your trumpet:)

Join me for a full-body awakening flow with some fun twists and turns so you can practice for them off the mat as well ;) Plenty of hip, hamstring and shoulder opening along with core strengthening so we can play with arm balances like koundinyasana 1 and dwi pada, and inversions including tripod headstand and handstand variations. We start on our backs with some hamstring warm ups and core work. We continue the hamstring stretches, adding inner groins and IT Band. Next we have some twists and quad stretches before getting on our feet for standing poses and flow. We finish with backbends and inversions. An all around stretchy string class. Enjoy!

If you're looking for a delicious all-over feel-good flow, you've come to the right place. Lots of shoulder, hip, hamstring and heart-opening along with core strengthening and time to play upside down. Long holds in pigeon and variations on pigeon, and a nice wide straddle forward fold. Deep, mindful breath and movement to soothe what ails you, and a very sweet savasana to send you gliding into your day.

Get ready to get centered! Please grab two blocks and a blanket and give yourself an hour to explore strength in your center as we move, breathe and flow, play with arm balances including side crow and koundinyasana 2, and end with some funky and fun headstand variations for those of you with a solid headstand practice. Please note, if you have any neck issues going on today, save this practice for another day!
