Hi Yogis! Please enjoy this intermediate flow meant to bring “relief and ease” to your body, mind & heart! You can expect a gentle warm up with cat/cow + down dog, a few sun salutations, some challenging standing poses and then a cool down, including heart and hip opening. If you're looking for a practice to get grounded and open your body deeply, this is it. Even if you practice daily, there are going to be times when you feel tight, or have less energy or have to coax yourself to get on your mat. This is my go-to kind of practice for days like that when I really want to open my hips, shoulders and hamstrings, get my breath going and also free up my energy! It's a great kind of practice when you're dealing with anxiety and need to move to burn it off, but maybe don't have your maximum energy level available. We sweat, move and breathe our way into an open body and a quiet mind. And you may see some arms popping into frame here and there because this is the Wild Card Monday class which I teach over zoom and in person while I film for y'all! I think these classes have a little extra community vibe which is kind of magical. So welcome to the Practice Garden, so glad you're here!

This is a great practice for opening the hips, hamstrings and shoulders and firing up the core. We are working toward a possible eight angle pose as our peak, but whether you get there today or not, the point is never the destination, but rather the way we're opening to the journey! You will certainly walk away with a strong core, open shoulders and hips and your sense of humor intact! A great hip, shoulder and hamstring-opening flow where we breathe deeply and build heat with the intent to release tension. You will sweat and move, but this is a good class to do at the end of your day, when you're on your cycle, or when you really need to focus on grounding and opening. Restorative backbend options, lots of hip and hamstring opening and deep breathing will help to move through feelings of anxiety or depression and will be comforting on days when you might be feeling overwhelmed.

This is an energizing flow with lots of heat-building and attention to front and back-body opening. Twists, hamstring, shoulder and upper-back opening, psoas, quadriceps and hip flexors so you'll be ready for deeper backbends and core work before we get upside down!

Quick but powerful core, chest and shoulders class! All you need is 10 minutes and a good attitude, and you will be amazed at how fired up you will be. It might only take 10 minutes, but your core, chest and shoulders will be talking to you for days! Of course you will stretch it out at the end because Angela wouldn't leaving you hanging! Great when you're short on time but want something potent and meaningful.
