Spoiler Alert: there's no prize for forcing anything. This practice gives you many good opportunities to build heat but you can also back off if you need to! The shoulders, hips, hamstrings and core get a lot of love in this flowing practice, you'll have reminders to keep breathing deeply and to listen to your body and respond with awareness and compassion. Two blocks may be very helpful to deepen some of the backbends and hip openers. Enjoy the good sweat and deep opening, yogis!

Hello, yogis! Today we have a fun, middle-of-the-road kinda flow that is not too crazy-hard and not easy, either! Just a sweet, solid, full-body flow with options for arm balances and inversions, but only if you want them! Enjoy this ride :)

This is a great practice for days when you have some good energy to work with and want to deeply open your shoulders and hamstrings, wring yourself out with some nice twists, strengthen your core and play with some fun arm balances and inversions! Eagle pose was our friend all the way through and we played with it right side up, on our heads and on our hands. Try to practice non-attachment, make it all about breathing deeply, pick the variations that make sense for you, and enjoy!

The core of this practice is a gentle flow with standing poses. We open with a reclined bound angle pose for the shoulders, back and hips. The class is peppered with more shoulder stretches, core work and balance. We close with backbends, a restorative inversion and savasana. Enjoy.

If you're feeling burnt OUT, this is for you! This is a steady, deeply opening flow that gives extra love to the hips, but also opens the shoulders and hamstrings. You can turn the heat up or down based on how you're feeling. I give tons of variations on everything so you can back off, or explore more deeply. Backbends can be active or restorative, as can inversions. Hip opening can be reclined or right-side-up. What I truly want is for you to stay curious from moment-to-moment about how your body feels so you can respond with compassion and awareness. That's the cure for burnout and if you can do it on your mat, you can do it in your life!

A yoga slow flow for better focus. A chance to practice the tools that help us remember who we really are… to reset any time we need to.
By Ally Hamilton on May 5, 2023
A true nervous system reset, perfect for days when you really need to come back to center, breathe deeply and center yourself. We begin with grounding techniques, intention-setting and breath-work, and a slow flow that truly syncs the breath with the movement. Once you're settled in and present, the heat and pace start to build. We play with standing balance (I had none, haha) and deep stretches for the hips, hamstrings and shoulders once we're warm. Then we play with inversions of your choice, including legs up the wall, the L-pose, building blocks to move into handstand with two legs together, or eagle pose upside down if you're ready. We end with more grounding so you walk away from your mat feeling the full effects of present-moment-awareness, an open body, mind and heart. Good stuff. Enjoy, yogis!

Get ready to sweat, smile, and move on the breath! For the next 45 minutes we’ll be moving and grooving on the breath count. Don’t worry, it’s not a dance party (unless you want it to be). It’s a vinyasa flow class that will have you feeling like a graceful swan…with the occasional flamingo wobble. Why will you love it, you ask? Well, for starters, you’ll feel like a badass warrior goddess moving on the breath like a pro. Plus, who doesn’t love a good challenge? Moving on the breath count will not only challenge your body, but also your mind. Trust me, by the end of class you’ll be feeling like a yoga ninja. So grab your mat, put on your favorite pair of yoga pants, and get ready to flow like the wind. And if you need a little extra inspiration, just imagine yourself as a graceful flamingo, because let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to be a flamingo doing yoga? Enjoy!

Welcome to the shoulder show, where we take time to show love to our shoulder joints through gentle twisting, strengthening and binding. Don't worry, the rest of the body is not neglected in this flow, instead, we focus on the poses that incorporate opening from the neck to the heart. Release tension we naturally build in the shoulders through our daily activities. Counter the tech neck and release some weight in your shoulders in this flow!
