Take a few basic poses... feel deeply into them... breathe slowly... and enjoy!

Hello, yogis! Welcome to a heat-building, sweat-inducing, energizing, fun flow! This practice definitely has advanced options and transitions, for example, we'll be playing with handstands and eka pada koundinyasana 2, and you may decide to try a transition from one to the other...or you may not! Intermediate students are welcome! The idea is to stay open to the possibilities. It would be odd and probably not very helpful if you could do everything easily...unless you were looking for a practice that was about maintenance or calming your nervous system or something that was more yin. But when you want a challenge...hopefully you're going to find a few things that are...well...challenging! That's how we grow. Two blocks and a strap may be helpful for some. You may want the wall for your handstands. Make it work, keep breathing, and let's do this.

About twenty minutes of a gentle but deep stretching practice to open every major muscle group so we can sit comfortably and approach our breathing practice. Pranayama and meditation for the last twenty minutes, noticing the part of us that perceives and the things we're perceiving -- without getting caught up too much in the perceiver -- meaning whatever feelings we're having about the things we're observing. Who are you under all the things you know?

A deep reset for anytime you need one. We begin with conscious, deep breathing and grounding awareness of sensation. Some yin-style opening before we get on our feet for some very gentle, slow-moving, mindful flow, lots of forward folding, shoulder-opening, love for your hamstrings and hips. When we get back on the floor, we'll go deeper into the hips, shoulders and hamstrings, and end with some restorative heart-opening. If you need a nervous system reset, some healing and self-soothing, and a balm for whatever ails you, this is it. Two blocks, a strap and a couple of bolsters or couch pillows may be helpful.

This is a stretch it out session. Great for post-workout, post-hike, post-run, end-of-day, but also anytime you want something deep and stretchy with lots of breath.

If you need some serious decompression, this is for you. We start with grounding, diving right into awareness of sensation. You will want to have a blanket and a couple of blocks handy, and if you have a bolster or a firm couch pillow, please grab that, too. This practice is a nervous system reset, we do a lot of breath-work including alternate nostril breathing, but it's also a yin-style practice with deep hip and hamstring opening and love for your shoulders, chest and upper back. Perfect for evening, or for anytime you are longing for deep nurturing relaxation.

Hello friends! Welcome to a rest and digest session. A perfect practice if you've just done something strenuous, but also if you've just eaten, or if you're having a day when you need rest and restoration more than movement. This is a meditation on thoughts versus the thinker. Whose thoughts are these, anyway? If you can witness your thoughts, who is doing the witnessing? Does every thought you have deserve your attention and energy? Things to digest as we sit together and witness our experience. Feel free to sit up on a block or meditation cushion, or to prop your tailbone on a blanket if it helps you create a long spine.

Hello friends! Join Brent for this feel-good flow that will open up every major muscle group and help you develop deeper awareness about where you're feeling strong and open, and where you might still have room to grow. Maybe the standing balance poses come easy to you, and the twists feel open, but the inversions present a challenge. Or maybe the inversions are happening, but the binds are out of reach (see what I did there?) This practice invites you to consider - if something is stopping me from finding a pose, what is it? Is it a lack of strength, or a lack of confidence? Is it tightness in your shoulders, or is there room to strengthen your core? There's no rush, you don't have to figure it all out in one session...you can keep comin' back! Maybe save this to your favorites and practice until the poses that aren't coming easily start to reveal themselves to you. You might want a couple of blocks and a strap. Enjoy!

A great practice post-workout, post-run, or anytime you're looking for a light stretch and deep breathing. Expect to release your shoulders, hips and hamstrings. You may want a strap and/or a block. Listen to your body, breathe deeply and enjoy before bed, after a run, or before a tough conversation :)

This is a restorative, gentle, deep yin practice that opens the hips and hamstrings with long holds and conscious breathing. You may want a block or two so that you can "lift the floor up" to meet you in certain poses, and really allow yourself to surrender. As you breathe and open deeply, Brent will share some history of yoga with you. Going back to the Vedic Period and The Vedas, which explored fundamental questions about existence, the nature of the divine, and the path to liberation. Good stuff :) Enjoy, yogis!

A sweaty, challenging, super fun flow with Brent, focused on hip mobility and core stability. Get ready to play with some of your old friends in new ways, challenge your balance, find muscles you didn't know you had, and work some deep core stabilizing muscles while you increase your hip mobility. Good stuff. Two blocks may be helpful. Enjoy, yogis!
