This practice is in response to a member request! Katie was looking for a sweet, stretchy, end-of-day decompression kind of session that would calm the nervous system, release any tension from the day, and set her up for an excellent night of sleep. You can do this practice in the evening, or you can certainly do it anytime you feel the need for a deep release and nervous system reset. Two blocks are handy for restorative backbends. If you are doing this at night, feel free to practice in your pajamas and take savasana in bed! Sweet dreams, day or night, yogis xx

Whether you are bringing your energy down for a midday nap or getting ready to ease into bedtime bliss, this flow is perfect for you. Dhaujee opens the offering with a meditation, bringing your awareness to the breath and mind. Slow and gentle movements set the tone for the rest of the offering and props are used throughout for a supported flow.

In this offering, we wind it down for a simple bedtime flow. Practice begins with a meditation moment to scan the body, breath and spirit. We get into fluid movement with opportunities to hold for more intentional opening. Dhaujee closes us out with gentle breath and meditation to call our energy back to our body for a restful night's sleep. Happy resting!

A great hip, shoulder and hamstring-opening flow where we breathe deeply and build heat with the intent to release tension. You will sweat and move, but this is a good class to do at the end of your day, when you're on your cycle, or when you really need to focus on grounding and opening. Restorative backbend options, lots of hip and hamstring opening and deep breathing will help to move through feelings of anxiety or depression and will be comforting on days when you might be feeling overwhelmed.

By request, a yin/restorative practice for days (or evenings) when you really need to chill. Tons of hip, hamstring and quadriceps opening, but also love for your shoulders and upper back. It can't all be yang, yogis! Gotta stay balanced. Enjoy!

Sometimes you just need to take it easy. This is a practice for those times. A gentle, but deep exploration of the spine, shoulders, hamstrings, hips and breath. Enjoy!

Want to work toward middle splits? Grab a couple of blocks, a strap, maybe a blanket or two and your open mind, and join me for this slow-ish, mindful flow where we build some nice heat with the intention of deeply opening the hips and hamstrings on our way to middle splits! You can expect Series C with variations, core strengthening, skandasana with variations, extended hand-to-big-toe pose with variations, bound angle pose with blocks, our friend the frog, wide straddle forward folds...and possibly middle splits! Please do not force anything! This is a deep pose and as ever, it is not the destination, it's the journey! Make deep, conscious breath the foundation and allow your body to open!

A practice that's perfect for days when you feel challenged. We begin with alternate nostril breathing and 4-7-8 breathing and a very short talk about working with your nervous system throughout the day when you need to. We move mindfully through this practice, focused on grounding poses and the breath. This is a practice where you will build enough heat to open deeply, but the focus is on mindful movement, breath, and a calm and open mind and heart. Great for anytime you need grounding, and also lovely as an evening practice.
